What support will I get on my qualification

Your own Personal Tutor for a full year

You will be allocated a tutor who will be your personal guide, mentor and coach. They will be an expert in their field and distance learning. You can be confident that their support and help will give you every opportunity to be successful. Your tutor will support you in a proactive way. They will contact you soon after you receive your learning pack and will agree your own personal timetable with you. We know that life sometimes gets in the way so if you need to change it, you simply contact your tutor.

They will explain how and when you can contact them, and there are no restrictions on how often you can do this. They will also initiate contact with you to check your progress and provide support and motivation. Your personal tutor will also assess the work you have to submit for your qualification. They will provide you with full written feedback.

As well as support from your tutor, you will be able to contact our learner services department at any time

For those of us who prefer to talk, we provide an unlimited opportunity to talk to your tutor about the way your course is progressing. This works especially well for those who like to chat about what they are doing.

Draft Assignment Support

We understand how it can be difficult to "get back into study" and how nerve racking assignments can be, especially when you are studying by distance learning. Your tutor will review one draft assignment per module to make sure you are on the right track and they will give detailed feedback to support you.

Specialist Workbooks

We supply you with individual workbooks which provide an easy to read and enjoyable guide to your study in each aspect of the course. Using the workbooks in a way that is right for you, you will be in the perfect position to complete your assignments.

Study Guides

For each unit we send you a detailed guide explaining in simple language what you need to do to succeed in the assignment. This may also include additional reading and where to find further articles that will help you.

A 3 Year Student Membership of the Chartered Management Institute (1 year for Introductory Programmes)

This means as part of the course materials you are provided with access to the CMI web based resource library, the Management Information Centre. This gives you more than 2 million online articles, books and journals at your fingertips.
